Mevagissey is the perfect destination for all types of holiday, whether it is a peaceful break, beach holiday or activity break on this picturesque stretch of Cornwall. Sea fishing, boat trips and a ferry to Fowey leave the harbour during the season.
With the coastal path right outside the door, the beaches of Pentewan, Portmellon and Gorran Haven are all easily accessible. Portmellon beach can be reached on foot from Smugglers View and is in a small sheltered cove, perfect for relaxing, exploring or rock pooling.
Conveniently situated for both the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. Other attractions in the area are Caerhays House and Garden, a vineyard and the Shipwreck and Heritage Centre at nearby Charlestown - home to tall sailing ships and a regular set used for film and TV programmes. Nearby St Austell has supermarkets, bowling, swimming pools and leisure facilities.
